The logo must have a clear defined purpose.
You need to use this image on a flyer, the website and on vehicles.(Your tutor will supply Vehicle templates).
(P4) 20th Feb
This was my first attempt for the logo to represent the art department.
The second attempt altering the colours of the image. After it had been live traced and expanded I was able to select single areas of the image and change their colour. I also chained the font used to a thicker font so it would stand out more.
For the final image I altered the lines and curves on the H so that it appeared to represent a H and not look similar to a G.
The finished logo. The logo displays paint splatter in an iconic and artsy way so it will be appealing to various ages. I range form blues, purples and navy so that they blend and associate well with each other.

Task 5
Submit your work to your tutor.Pair up with a fellow student and give each other written feedback on blogger explaining how they could improve their logo.Modify your designs based on this feedback.
(P5) 3rd March
This displays my comment Talisha had written on regarding improvements to my logo for the art department. As seen in the image below I have altered the text colour so that it blends in with my image and stands out increasing the overall brightness of the whole appearance making it more appealing and it seems less subtle than the bold black font I had previously used.

To improve the logo, you could change the colours of the font to link with the background and add to the overall brightness of the logo.
